Population relates to the number of people residing in any country. The term population explosion is defined as the fast and dramatic rise in world population that has happened over the last few hundred years between 1959 to 2000.
The world population increased from 2.5 billion to 6.1 billion people.According to few estimates, it will be 10.9 billion by 2050.The increasing trend is mostly visible in the developing countries where rates of natural increase are much higher than industrialized countries which has lead to an introduction of population control policies in many countries. In today,s world improved sanitation, nutrition, and medical care has decreased death rates, and thus more babies survive their early life years. These have resulted in the tremendous increase throughout the world.
Apart from the developing countries the some developed countries are also in the line of being highly populated. No doubt that these countries have adopted measures to maintain stability in their population but still they have reached a high level in population series.
